Now Complete!

Glenarm Square all wrapped up in time for the holidays.

DealCorp is thrilled to finish off 2022 with the completion of our $100m project Glenarm Square, in the heart of Melbourne’s inner east.

Sitting on the former level crossing removal site at 287 Burke Road Glen Iris, residents have direct access onto the Monash Freeway, plus a north facing plaza which feeds into Gardiner Station.

Our consultants, PLUS Architecture have designed a striking and well-balanced building which houses 115 residences, and Hecker Guthrie Studio have completed their interiors with a sense of calm and sophisticated composure which also carries through the suite of residents’ exclusive amenities.

David Kobritz, DealCorp Executive Chairman commented that the development had come with a unique set of challenges, but was a milestone for Melbourne. “This is a long time in the making, we have been working on this project for almost eight years and to see it complete and occupied is very rewarding’.

FLOW ST8 Joins Glenarm Square

Glenarm  Square is pleased to share an update for the ground floor tenancies.

Innovative new fitness company FLOW ST8 has signed a lease to occupy tenancies 4 & 5 at Glenarm Square.

The operator has said, “FLOW ST8 brings a new style of training to the world of fitness! Get ready for ‘Mixed Modality Training’, where 8 modalities are integrated into a single session, creating a balanced and holistic approach to your training”.

FLOW ST8 is anticipated to open early 2023.

A Successful Pre-Settlement Evening for Glenarm Square

We are pleased to share images of our pre-settlement event last night held for purchasers of Glenarm Square.

We had a wonderful evening hosting our purchasers and project team at Deeds Taproom in Glen Iris. With over 100 attendees we were able to witness the community coming together, with neighbours meeting one another for the first time and meeting the OC management team and the building manager.

Richard Knight, Development Manager at DealCorp provided an overview of the upcoming settlement process and Ian Briggs from PLUS Architecture provided an insight into the initial design and intention for the site. Renowned chef and project partner, Shane Delia from Maha spoke to purchasers about the important role food and hospitality plays in the community, which he will demonstrate through his onsite cooking classes once residents settle into Glenarm Square.

Entering Final Stages of Construction

It is with great anticipation we enter the final stages of construction at Glenarm Square with builder Hamilton Marino. The external scaffolding is in the process of being removed, revealing the façade detailing and the upcoming months will see Hamilton Marino’s focus shift to the joinery installation, painting, electrical fit off and various other final elements.

Our retail leasing team is working with some impressive operators to occupy the ground floor shops. Our team remain dedicated to having a diverse and exciting range of uses which will service both the resident’s and surrounding community.

All 119 apartments are now sold out and Glenarm Square remains on track for completion this Spring.

Glenarm Square is Progressing Well

Construction at Glenarm Square is progressing well with internal joinery and finishes fit-out works underway. Commencement of fit-out to the resident’s communal areas has commenced and builder Hamilton Marino has completed the glass window installation to the ground floor retail spaces.

As we move through the final months of construction, we anticipate completion and settlements in Spring 2022.

Major Construction Milestone Accomplished!

DealCorp are thrilled to be well into 2022 and have made great progress at Glenarm Square with builder Hamilton Marino.

A major milestone recently accomplished is the completion of the building structure with the final level topped out. Hamilton Marino have commenced the window installation to the lower levels and the first delivery of joinery has arrived on site.

At this stage we anticipate Glenarm Square completion take place in Spring 2022, with settlements to shortly follow.

Construction at Glenarm Square is progressing well

Construction at Glenarm Square is progressing well with level 5 structure now complete. The remaining 3 levels are anticipated to be complete 2022.

Builder, Hamilton Marino have commenced the service rough in and fit off works on the lower levels of the building. The permanent power infrastructure and lead-in works are now complete.

As a result of having restricted manpower on site due to the Victorian lockdown, DealCorp anticipate the project will be complete in Q3 2022.

Return of construction at Glenarm Square

DealCorp would like to write with a brief update following the return of construction at Glenarm Square.

The industry was shutdown for the two weeks leading to October 5th and we would like to take this opportunity to assure you that builder, Hamilton Marino is revising the program in line with current restrictions and will do their best to make up for time lost and limited personnel onsite.

During early Spring and in recent days, Glenarm Square has achieved a number of significant milestones, including completion of the ground floor slab works, completion of the upper ground floor works, and the commencement of level 2 suspended slab. During the coming weeks, we anticipate the completion of the level 1 transfer slab, which will enable the design sequence to take place on the upper levels. Passing traffic will also notice the commencement of the façade scaffolding.

We are pleased to announce that the project is over 85% sold and we look forward to sharing more milestones as the project progresses.
